Prosper Utesya hat-tricks against South Africa at Harare Sports Club



There’re two numbers of hat-tricks that have been taken by Zimbabwean bowlers in ODI cricket. Before that Eddo Brandes have taken hat-trick against England in 1997. Moreover there’re now two hat-tricks that have been taken against South Africa in ODI cricket, the only previous one being Lasith Malinga's famous four-in-four-balls at Guyana during the 2007 World Cup. Prosper Utseya is the first Zimbabwean bowler who have taken five wickets against South Africa in ODI 29 Aug 2014.  In all, Zimbabwean bowlers have taken 16 five-fors in ODI cricket, with Brian Vitori, Paul Strang, Henry Olonga and Eddo Brandes being the only bowlers to take more than one - they have taken two each.

Sunil Narine became first Bowler in T20 to bowl a Maiden Super Over.



West Indies off spinner Sunil Narine became the first bowler in T20 cricket history to bowl a maiden over in a super over. The match was Red Steel versus Guyana Amazon Warriors of the Caribbean Premier League at Providence on Thursday 21 August 2014. Earlier in the day, the Dwayne Bravo-led Red Steel franchise removed the words “Trinidad & Tobago” from their name on a minister's request. But the name change did not prove enough for the team. The scores were tied after the stipulated 20 overs a side, with Red Steel 118/8 and Guyana Amazon Warriors at 118/9. And then, the Steels came up against the wily spin of Sunil Narine.

The highest partnership for the 6th wicket for Pakistan in ODIs



The protagonists Sohaib Maqsood & Fawad Alam, who added 147 runs for the sixth wicket, in 117 balls against Sri Lanka at Hambantota 23 Aug 2014. This is the record sixth wicket partnership for Pakistan. It is also bring Pakistan back from the dead and drag them over the line with one ball left to play, after all manner of final-over drama. It was only the second time in the last three years that Pakistan had successfully chased a 250-plus target.

Shahid Afridi Set Anoth Record For Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi has set another record of most matches to leave behind former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq in One-Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka at Hambantota 23 Aug 2014. Shahid Afridi broke this record when he started his 379th match against Sri Lanka in Hambantota. Afridi played career 379 ODIs while the world class batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq had played his career 378 matches. Shahid Afridi, age 34, has scored 7619 runs so far in his 378 ODIs while he has taken same 378 wickets. Afridi now involve in 266 international matches win, a record number of win by a Pakistani player, beating Inzamam (265).

England Jos Buttler and Brad Haddin are the only two wicketkeeper in the last fifteen years who have taken six catches in their debut test. However; the record is most catches on debut test is 7 well achieved by four 4 players Allan Knot, Chris Read, Biran Taber and Chamara Dunusinghe.

Moreover; Jos Buttler, Adam Gilchrist and Chamara Dunusinghe are the only three wicket keeper batsman who made fifty and taken five catches at least on debut Test.
