Azmat Rana batting vs India at Sahiwal 3rd ODI in November 1978

In this video, you will have a chance to see a rare video of Azmat Rana batting vs India in the 3rd ODI at Sahiwal in 3rd November 1978. He was younger brother of Test cricketer Shafqat Rana and umpire Shakoor Rana. He appeared for Pakistan in just 2 ODI’s, scored 42 runs at an average of 42.00. 

In this innings he scored 20 off 23  balls. Lets watch his brief innings. Azmat Rana was a consistent left-hand batsman who played with steady success in Pakistan domestic cricket. Like many others, he played just once for Pakistan. He was selected against Australia at Lahore in 1979-80 and scored 49 in his only innings.  In the first class cricket he scored 6001 runs at an impressive average of 47.62 including 16 hundreds and 30 fifites with the top score of 206 not out. In List A cricket he scored 442 runs in 17 matches at an average of 40.18 including three fifties with the top score of 96.

Ijaz Ahmad Blazing Hundred vs Zimbabwe at Rawalpindi in 1998

Pakistani batsman Ijaz Ahmad known for his blistering innings. One such moment came against Zimbabwe in the 3rd ODI on Novemember 24, 1998 at Rawalpindi. When He produced a masterclass innings of 132 runs off 103 balls including 9 fours and 4 massive sixes. With his performance Pakistan won the match by 111 runs. Ijaz Ahmad was rightly named player of the match. Lets watch his scintillating innings.

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan posted a good total of 302 for 6 wickets in 50 overs. Ijaz Ahmad scored 132 and saeed anwar scored 73  were the major contributors. In reply, Zimbabwe bowled out 191 runs and lost the match. Only Andy flower scored 61 runs. This was odi # 1377. The match umpires were Javed Akhtar and Riazuddin.
