As far as records reveals, no one has ever hit their very first ball in Test cricket for six before, as New Zealand's Mark Craig did in Kingston. More importantly 6 others players are known to have opened their accounts in Tests with a six but not first ball. Otago's Mark Craig became the only New Zealander to take eight wickets on his Test debut in Kingston. The previous-best was by another off spinner, Paul Wiseman, who took 7 for 143 on his debut, against Sri Lanka in Colombo in May 1998.

Stuart Broad Became the first England Bowler to Take Two Hat-tricks in Test Cricket

Stuart Broad became the first England bowler to take two hat-tricks in Test cricket, and added his name in the list of unique accomplishment that have done twice in test Cricket. Stuart Broad is only the 4th bowler of all time, as England tore through Sri Lanka's lower order on the opening day of the Headingly Test # 2126. It was a significant achievement all the same, taking him alongside Australia's leg spinner Jimmy Matthews (who did it twice in the same match), his fellow Australian Hugh Trumble and Wasim Akram of Pakistan as the only players to accomplish the feat twice. Broad's previous success came against India at Trent Bridge in 2011. Stuart Broad hat-trick includes Kumar Sangakkara mainstay of Sri Lanka's innings, for 79, well caught by Ian Bell at gully,  and then added Dinesh Chandimal at first slip and Shaminda Eranga, a catch to the keeper, with the first two deliveries of his following over.

Root's maiden double-hundred makes him one of only four Englishmen to have scored a double century by the age of 24.

England middle order batsman Joe Root's maiden double-century was the actually 3^rd instance of a player batting at No. 5 or below and scoring a double-century at Lord's and is the first such instance since 1949. New Zealand's Martin Donnelly was the last man to achieve this feat, during a bore draw game in June 1949. The last time Joe Root batted at Lord's when he played a super match-winning inning of 180 to give England a massive victory, by 347 runs, against Australia in the 2013 Ashes. Kane Williamson has a Great Series Against India

New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson has a great series against India; he became only the 2^nd batsman in ODIs to score five fifties in all five matches’ series. The other batsman is Yasir Hameed of Pakistan, to achieve this feat, who hit one century and four fifties in five matches’ series against kiwis in 2003-04. Kane Williamson is also fourth New Zealand batsman to hit five or more consecutive fifties in ODI’s. The other batsmen are Andrew Jones, Roger Twose and Martin Guptil to do the feat it. His five fifties are also the most fifty plus scores by a New Zealand batsman in a bilateral series. He managed 361 runs in the series are the highest by a New Zealand batsman in a bilateral ODI series, the previous record held by Nathan Astle who scored 351 runs against Zimbabwe in 1997-98. Ross Taylor made 343 runs in the series is the third highest in this list.
